Naughty Dog Environment Art Workflow Articles in Vertex Magazine
Recently I got a chance to contribute a texture tutorial for the inaugural issue of Vertex Magazine, put out by Ryan Hawkins. A few of us Dogs, David Ballard, Anthony Vaccaro, Jeremy Huxley and myself, created articles and tutorials that paint a current snapshot of Naughty Dog’s unique background workflow. My contribution is a tutorial article that covers production proven tips for creating tiling textures using ZBrush and Photoshop.
